UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN follows San Francisco writer Frances Mayes (Diane Lane) to Italy as a good friend offers her a special gift -- 10 days in Tuscany. Once there, she is captivated by its beauty and warmth, and impulsively buys an aging, but very charming, villa. Fully embracing new friends and local color, she finds herself immersed in a life-changing adventure filled with enough unexpected surprises, laughter, friendship, and romance to restore her new home -- and her belief in second chances.

I absolutely love this movie. One of my favorite. I have watched it so many times. It's one of those movies you see over and over again, and it always feels like if it's the first time you've ever seen it. My dream vacation is Italy, and this movie is set in Tuscany, Italy, amongst other places in Italy. Love the soundtrack also. Great date nite movie. Love it!!

Beautiful scenery of Italy. Makes me want to go back to Italy so bad! Great story too. Not as predictable as most romantic comedies, and includes some endearing clichés of Italy.

I didn't really like this movie. Too bad some scenes were a bit slow. But i did like her friends expecting a baby & the old guy with the flowers every day. And i did like the young couple.
