Derrick (Sam Trammell) is a successful lawyer with a large trust fund. One morning, he wakes up in an apartment he doesn't recognize, next to a woman he has never seen before (Ellen Pompeo). After the woman calls him Zane, Derrick discerns that he has somehow become a criminally inclined musician, and inhabits a slightly altered world. Now, it's up to Derrick to figure out why he has switched identities, and what his connection with Zane really is.
