Blood Wars' plot feels too similar to previous Underworld films. No real character development. Vampires and Werewolves hate each other and do their best to kill the other side. Almost everyone is wearing black. Set pieces are dark with heavy blue lighting. It was just okay. If you are a fan of this series, then watch it. Otherwise, you are not missing much.

I liked the movie. I thought it had good action and was fast paced. My problem is it's hard to view on my phone. I don't know what the problem is. Must be something with the contrast (too much /they need to lower it ). I tried turning up the brightness all the way on my phone but it's still hard to view. And the movie has a lot of night scenes so that does not help. I know the movie is supposed to have a dark feel to it but, this is beyond that. I ended up deleting it from my phone (Galaxy Note 4).

Oh well...lackluster. Hoping for old characters to return and tie some lose ends but never mind. Yes, the hybrid/love interest that made the cut in the second installment but never returned and the daughter of the hybrid and the vampire who is introduced for apparently absolutely no purpose in Awakening as she's MIA in this one. Let's throw some fake scenery, CGI, and of course some actors. Mix them well and there you have it... Underworld Something Something Wars
