The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Michael Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Especially when this film tells the story of how the war started.....while there are reprising roles and sure they do a great job and there are great fighting sequences. Sadly though the climatic part of the film will leave fans disappointed which was the main focus of the film and whole movie series (up to the second one at least) just rent this film but do not buy it

I'm really liking the battle scenes,mid evil times ,and superior beings really put there smack down ,to protect their kind.

I thought this was pretty good for the prequel. Good story/action and goes well with the the other 3. Although- it's a good thing as far as a Blockbusterdom head start, that this one came later instead of first.
