La petite Sirène" est un film du réalisateur visionnaire Rob Marshall tiré du classique d'animation musical Disney narrant l'histoire d'Ariel, une ravissante et pétillante jeune sirène assoiffée d'aventure. Plus jeune fille du Roi Triton et la plus rebelle, Ariel rêve de découvrir "le monde d'en haut" et un soir qu'elle se retrouve à la surface, elle tombe amoureuse du Prince Éric. Les sirènes ayant l'interdiction d'entrer en contact avec les humains, Ariel doit trouver le moyen d'écouter son cœur. En passant un contrat avec la diabolique Sorcière de la Mer, Ursula, qui lui offre une chance d'expérimenter la vie sur la terre ferme, elle mettra son existence et la couronne de son père en danger. "La Petite Sirène" est réalisé par Rob Marshall, d'après un scénario de David Magee. Le film est produit par Marc Platt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John DeLuca et Rob Marshall. Attention : certaines scènes contiennent des lumières clignotantes sucesptibles d'incommoder les spectateurs photosensibles.

Notes et avis

Where to start? The changes made are jarring and nonsensical. The casting is polarizing(including the controversial lead). Although a talented singer, Halle Bailey can't act. Scuttle is very unbearable(Voiced by an old chain smoker?) Scuttlebutt is the worst Disney song EVER! The film looks dreary with dark toned colors and fake CGI. The movie misses the mark of what made the original a classic. It's another pointless remake, skip this and go watch the 1989 classic.

Pretty bad. The cartoonish setting doesn't really lend itself to a live action version, so flounder, sebastian and (Akwafina? really!?) scuttle just don't have the same magic. Arielle's underwater kingdom is a world full of color in the 1989 classic but in this version the sea is much darker. This makes for realism but the visuals suffer. Eric is a blank slate, ariele can sing but she can't act, and of course was hopelessly miscast anyway. Leads have no chemistry. Also 2:15hr for a kids movie!?

They could have made their own movie, but nope. They had to make it woke. My argument isn't about the color of her skin, it is about the fact they pushed it along with their new diverse vision, forcing movies to have diverse actors. No longer will creative minds make films, they will now be forced to meet a quota based on skin color. Racist if you ask me.
