A surprisingly intelligent, twisty action thriller from Director Michael Apted, who here makes up for his lacklustre Bond movie The World Is Not Enough (1999). Noomi Rapace further cements her action heroine status as a force to be reckoned with. Just when this movie's plot seems to be going down a formulaic, predictable route, some logical plot changes happen that elevate Unlocked (2018) to a higher standard.

Not the worst film I've seen but it didn't really fit together very well. I think because the motivation of the bad guy is ultimately quite silly. It's been done before but I can't even remember which films it was used in, which suggest they're as forgettable as I expect this one to be.

The story is common but until 70 per cent of the film has suspense, action and intrigue. By the end looses steam. But I recomend it anyway, because it is a pleasure to see the act of Rapace and Malkovich... Great!
