Surya is the receptionist of a lodge and falls in love with his neighbour's daughter, Laila. He helps her family so much and her parents accept him has LailaÕs fiance. There enters Ramji, who is a Manager in a big company and Laila's parents reverse their promise to Surya and convince Laila to get married to Ramji. Sneha, who is the daughter of the new Manager of the lodge, falls in love with Surya. LailaÕs family is back in streets after Ramji's true colours come out in due course of time. Surya goes out of the way and helps Laila to become a doctor. When she becomes a doctor, she asks him to marry her and Surya's reply is a fitting climax.
