Academy Award®-winning director Steven Soderbergh plunges audiences into the suspense and drama of a resilient woman's fight to reclaim her freedom even as she risks her own sanity. Still scarred from the trauma of being terrorized by a stalker, Sawyer Valentini (Claire Foy, The Crown) receives treatments at the Highland Creek Behavioral Center. However, shortly after she unwittingly commits herself to the mental institution and is unable to leave, she catches sight of a facility staffer who, she is convinced, is actually her stalker. But is he real or a production or delusion?

GARBAGE, NOT WORTH THE RENT OR PRODUCTION.. HOLLYWOOD HAS HAD THE MOST HORRIBLE MOVIES MADE WITHIN THE LAST 2 YEARS GARBAGE FILMS.. THESE WHITE ACTORS ARENT TRASH.. HAS NO PLOTHER OR MORAL VALUE. THESE PEOPLE OF COLOR MOVIES HAVE BEEN 5 STARS BUT HOLLYWOOD DOESN'T GIVE THEM THE MONEY, THEY HAVE GREAT FILMS.. SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING. THESE TRASH FILMS,AREA WASTE TIME AND MONEY..

Unsane was a movie I kept on my radar for two reasons. (1) the director (2) it was shot on an iPhone! I find this film inspiring for anyone who has a passion or a curious mind to make a film. It shows how simple it can be too pick up your phone and go for it! With that being said, can you notice the quality of a device like an iPhone? Yes, you can but as the film progresses to show the plot of what it is about, it used that quality of the iPhone to its advantage of a creepy unsettling vibe that added more tension when you walked out. It is not a perfect film, it does take a bit to get the ball rolling, and there was a part of the film in the political sense that I cant decide if it was necessary, but all in all I reccomend for viewing. Do not expect Oscar worth cinematography, and it's not a turn off your brain type a movie, just enjoy it for what it has to offer and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

This movie made one of the biggest artistic mistakes in recent memory. It was all completely shot on an iPhone and it looks absolutely HORRENDOUS. Not sure why the director did this but it was a terrible choice. It makes the movie look blah and dull throughout. It's full of still shots and poor directing. The movie itself is incredibly unrealistic and makes very little sense. It reminds me of a straight to DVD movie. Everything is very low budget. Rent it, do not buy.
