Unstoppable is billed as an answer movie. Where is God during all the pain and suffering? This is the question that the dvd case claims this movie is asking, but the case is lying to us. Unstoppable is Kirk Cameron's very condensed version of the Bible. And yes, he covers the whole thing in an hour. There is nothing wrong with this except that Cameron thinks he is telling this story as if it has never been told before. Stay away from this movie if you value any faith you have. Cameron will destroy it.

So it gets one star because it is technically a movie. In the end this movie panders to an already established conservative Christian demographic. The question of why God let's evil exist is never answered other than to regurgitate what countless others have already said, "God is mysterious", "it goes back to Cain and Abel", etc. A better movie would have been about why conservative Christians, who seemingly hate evil, feel the need to inflict so much pain on groups like homosexuals and unwed mothers.

Hey if Kirksif God does exist don't you think it's a little odd that his movie has a 2.3 rating which is horrible. Wouldn't God intervene to make this a better movie or even make it have a higher rating so that people would watch it and Gods message would get out there and reach more people. Maybe Kirk should pray for the ratings to go up.
