Oscar-winner Denzel Washington and Star Trek's Chris Pine team with action maestro Tony Scott in this non-stop thriller. A massive unmanned locomotive, nicknamed "The Beast" and loaded with toxic cargo, roars through the countryside, vaporizing anything put in front of it. A veteran engineer (Washington) and a young conductor (Pine), aboard another train in the runaway's path, devise an incredible plan to try and stop it — and prevent certain disaster in a heavily populated area.

Okay, I understand how peeps like an action/suspense film but this is garbage. I know how to operate a diesel/electric loci and this film is stupid, did no one in production think to even talk to an operator? Don’t waste your time at all.

A great movie to watch, as I've seen it and the 1206 goes after it to stop it before it rips the back wall off the end, and Chris stopped the train,with the help of Denzil Washington ,then even though Denzil got his ,,,,90 dAu notice,he wad rehired

The best part about it is that it's based off a real life event called The Crazy 8s incident
