À propos de ce film

Grey Trace, a technophobe in a utopian near-future when computers control nearly everything - from cars to crime-surveillance - is paralysed in a freak mugging that leaves his wife dead. But when a billionaire technologist offers him an experimental paralysis cure - an implanted computer chip called STEM - Grey finds that the chip has a voice and a mind of its own. Together Grey and STEM embark on a mission to avenge his wife's death.

A surprising and highly enjoyable find and perhaps a vision of a possible future for humankind. The infiltration of computer controlled life is already here and now it's just a matter of time before we're outwitted and taken over by machines that are smarter, stronger and less empathetic than us. It didn't have the slick finish like the matrix or a bigger budget film but I got immersed in it in from the very start, the characters were genuine and the pace just right to keep the plot moving. The ending was perfect - no sugar coating or feel goods.

Refreshing, topical, clever. The awkward , non-fluid fight scenes are a standout. It just seems to be under resolved in its story line and direction. It could have been a blockbuster with a bit more polish. It's sort of like Blade Runner meets I Robot. Should have got a lot more attention.

Highly entertaining! Not a big budget feature, but done very well. It is stylish with a basic and sometimes disjointed revenge type storyline with a curious twist. This movie has some great action sequences, interesting characters, rich with atmospheric cinematography and soundtrack, and offers a fanciful glimpse into a pervasive tech future. The name STEM is quirky play of political reference...!
