The plot holes in this movie make it like swiss cheese. Though, there's one the size of Texas that's exposed very early. One of the "rules" of their worlds is if matter (everything is made of this!) goes to the other world, it heats up and combusts if it's on the wrong world too long. That gets thrown out VERY quickly. I seriously don't know how the eff this movie has a 4.1 rating.

Upside Down is a film that sounds interesting (ignoring physics, of course), but proceeds to make just about every mistake in terms of plot and character development imaginable. The result is a boring, lifeless movie that even the most sensitive person won't care about. A complete and utter waste of an interesting concept. Beyond an interesting premise, this movie offers nothing.

It was billed as a scifi film but it came across as a romance. Very good acting but I was expecting something much different then I got. It was essentially a boy chases girl movie with cool FX on a different stage. The ending was not predictable but I felt like I was left hanging (probably for a second movie).
