13-year-old Nory and her best friend Reina enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies, where Nory's wonky magic lands her in a class for those with Upside-Down Magic, otherwise known as UDM. While many believe that the UDM's unique powers make them a target to dangerous and evil shadow magic, Nory and her fellow UDM classmates set out to prove that Upside-Down Magic beats right-side-up!

The Movie itself was a very Interesting and eye-catching film adaption. However certain characters (Bax, Elliot) are missing. Elliot is IN the movie but is still replaced by Reyna, a Descendants "Evie" like girl. I dislike how Harry Potter fans keep comparing the series.The Film is good and Inspiring as all Disney movies are and I love the overall message of It all. One of Disney's greatest movies of the Decade.

MOVIE IS TERRIBLE! First off it is nothing like the books and removes so much that the movie doesn't even make sense .... AT ALL!!

Watched it on Disney in premiere here also on Disney + it is, then on DisneyNOW as well the most awesome movie. Main character Nory is very powerful girl and bcs her magic is different she does it her own way with the rest of the team and that's what makes them powerful. She made their teacher believes in her and they made ir their own way! It's about to not give up on your dreams no matter what others say even if they think your way its wrong, prove yourself opposite, this is how I see it.😊💖
