I'm from Houston, and I remember when Urban Cowboy, was being filmed when I was a little girl and how this movie made having a cowboy hat with feathers a necessity. 🤣 One of my all time favorite movies.

A Cowboy from Spur, Oklahoma moves to Houston, Texas to get work with his Uncle Bob. Goes to Gilley's Club and finds his future wife Sissy.

This film catapulted the crossover country era. John, Debra, Mady, Scott, and the other cast members including the late Mickey Gilley played their roles perfectly.
