A group of friends take a lavish weekend getaway to an island where a mysterious club owner (Pierce Brosnan) introduces them to URGE, a new designer drug that allows them to live out their wildest fantasies. But what starts out as a fun night of partying, soon takes a sinister turn when their primal impulses become uncontrollable.

The movie doesn't finish until the last frame after the credits. The movie, just to give a clue, could also be called "Purge," for the drug distributed sweeps away social conditioning, releasing the real "you,". It's not a movie where you root for a character, rather you go on ride, where your urge to see an interesting movie is helped by the twists and turns of the plot. A really good script drives "Urge," and I would have happy to have seen this at the theater.

...so long as your vocabulary is not limited and you can understand subtleties. The true ending is not until after the credits have finished rolling. I would enjoy a sequel that fleshes out the main point of this film.

This film oozes not with big actors with big chops, though Chatwin and Masterson have some blow out moments. The writing of this screenplay taps into the pulse of the current social world and the delivery is like a shot of adrenaline, heroin, and cocaine right in the neck!!!!!! and Brosnan is always a homerun and was surprised to find out who he was actually playing because u won't know til the very end!
