Delusional Mexican Gen. Maximilian Rodrigues (Peter Ustinov) tells his troops they are on their way to an American march in honor of George Washington's birthday -- then leads them over the border and recaptures the Alamo. When he successfully takes over, National Guard Gen. Billy Joe Halston (Jonathan Winters) is sent in to convince the Mexicans to leave, but is outwitted. After the invaders take several hostages, the stage is set for a final fight for the fort.
