But when he does, he proves himself a blood-thirsty, brutal and efficient warrior. But times - and masters - are changing; Christian Vikings are supplanting their pagan cousins. I can see why anyone who was used to awful, Hollywood films based on history, and would think this is slow; it has barely any dialogue. But it's really a beautiful, and poetic film. I loved the actors, especially the main. It's dirty, cold cold and brutal and really makes you feel as though you are there.

Sorry - a waste of time. Too Arty Farty for me.
