This movie hasn't got the credit it deserves. It's fun, light hearted and there is enough substance in the storyline to stop you from switching off. Having read the book series I would love it if there was a sequel. It's a shame it was never shown in UK cinemas

I was expecting a funny action movie. It feels like there is no story at all, the pace of the movie is awfully slow & boring (maybe 15 min of actions in total), lots of meaningless discussions, no fun. From the initial idea (Vampire academy) there was substance to do a nice movie, but this is a boring and weird disaster.

Loved this film and im still in hopes of a second i know they strayed from the book alot but as an independent film its great fun i love having a vampire film thats not so doom and gloom and the complicated world they create in this film did peak my interest id love another film to delve deeper into their world Rose and Lissa must have a great partnership as it shows in their on screen friendship and charisma and i thought the chemistry between Demitri and Rose was on fire just like her dress 🤭. Give it a try its up to you but keep watching movies. Take care fellow film addicts out there. Rachy x
