Vampire Academy tells the legend of Rose Hathaway and Lissa Dragomir, two 17-year-old girls who attend a hidden boarding school for Moroi (mortal, peaceful Vampires) and Dhampirs (half-vampire/half-human guardians). Rose, a rebellious Guardian-in-training and her best friend, Lissa -- a royal vampire Princess - have been on the run when they are captured and returned to St.Vladamirs Academy, the very place where they believe their lives may be in most jeopardy. Thrust back into the perils of Moroi Society and high school, Lissa struggles to reclaim her status while Rose trains with her mentor and love-interest, Dimitri, to guarantee her place as Lissa's guardian. I LOVED the books!! And I was so excited when I heard there was going to be a movie! However after watching the movie I was a bit disappointed. The acting wasn't unbearable, but it could have been better. The graphics were really good and I enjoyed the action scenes. I hope the next movies will be better and that the actors will become their characters instead of trying to portray them. 6/10 over all. :)

After reading the books you would understand how Rose is described as a sexy, badass chick but this actor was a huge disappointment for what I was expecting. Even for Lissa, shes supposed to be a popular but reserved, and attractive blonde but this actor just doesn't fit the image of Lissa I had in my head. Some parts were okai but I just felt like the whole thing was rushed. Even Lissa's speech at the end disappointed me because I know it could have been so much better!

Y'all obviously didn't read the books. I am so disappointed the book is so much better and this movie did not follow anything that's in the book like Rose Hathaway is supposed to be this sexy badass and this chick doesn't even come close to her also Lissa is supposed to be like this cute little popular blonde and this movie can be so much better than Twilight and Vampire Diaries but this just sucks if someone took the time andcare too like actually make it like the book this could be better than those two
