Tells the thinly veiled story of David Bowie and his relationship with Iggy Pop and other glam rock icons of the time. Told through the eyes of a typical British teen of the era who finds himself going on a decade long journey of self discovery. He is witness to the tumultuous changes in politics and music happening around him and searches for the truth. Great soundtrack, subtle but memorable performances. An underrated gem.

Actually a close second to Night of the Hunter in my opinion, but more contemporary I guess. I LOVE THIS MOVIE... It's basically the readaptation of the glam rock scene stories, with homage paid to Bowie, Iggy Pop, Marc Bolan, etc. GREAT soundtrack, GREAT cinematography, GREAT acting, and EWAN MCGREGOR'S PENIS... No joke... watch it
