The evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character – Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers - transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?

Not a great movie. Certainly a disappointment given it is in the Marvel Universe. Potential for more, but in this movie, the characters had no depth, Hardy's character was portrayed like he was along for the ride and not particularly bright, given that he is an investigative reporter this just didn't work. It is an action flick with loud music to make up for the lack of character development and story line.

Mediocre film.... a fan of Spiderman and comics, thus dosent showcase what venom really is. This could have been an amazing film, dark, mysterious psychotic. All of venoms traits leaving a sequel for the even more dark and sinister carnage. Yet lightly polished with average graphics. Not sure how they are going to cater to the kiddy genre when the serial killer carnage movie is released. Again sony and these movie makers make these films for a average profit killing the essence of character

Not the strongest in terms of plot or even character development. But hey, it was overall entertaining and gave me some good laughs, and really sometimes thats all you need on a saturday night.
