Sobre este filme

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL'S greatest and most complex characters. In search of his next big story, journalist Eddie Brock lands an exclusive interview with convicted murderer and death row inmate Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), who discovers Eddie's secret and becomes the host for Carnage, a menacing and terrifying symbiote.

This movie was awful and difficult to watch. It feels like it was written and directed by a team of a ten year old and people who know nothing about the Venom or Carnage character. Andy Serkis is an amazing actor, but Film Directing is a completely different animal that requires a lot of learning to do well. Same applies to Tom Hardy and writing. The story is weak, the dialogue is terrible, the acting is okay and bad, the Venom dialogue is incredibly stupid, and it's all over in 90 minutes so things barely develop and feels rushed. If I could re-edit this movie, my final film would be a 15 minute short film after cutting out all the bad parts. The Venom character was turned into a dumb teenager, even dumber than the first film. Several things don't make sense and this is probably one of the worst Marvel movies, but that's expected since Sony is in charge. If Marvel owned Spiderman, the movie would be a lot better. First Venom movie was a C grade, and this second movie is a D grade.

One of the best comic book movies I have ever seen. This film is for mainly mature audiences and this is shown when venom yells the f bomb for no apparent reason besides making the 10 year Olds in the crowd giggle. It also covers serious topics like fatherhood. When venom yells "oh s#it!" It shows how he is not ready to take on the responsibility of being a dad. It is also quite tragic when he kills his own son. He may be a hero, but a very broken man.

I've always liked Venom as a character. I've always liked Carnage as a character. The two characters work. But when you put Carnage in a movie, and make that movie PG-13, you're pretty much setting yourself up for disaster. The movie is too short for me to remember anything that happened. Likewise to Eternals, there's little character development in some characters, especially Shriek. The movie is okay, but it's held back by questionable rating, lack of development, and especially the runtime.
