This wasn't necessarily your typical movie. It was more of a auto-biography/documentary on their lives and struggles. It's really inspirational and it not only gives a good inside look at the tennis lives of Venus & Serena, but tennis players lives in general. I agree with Venus, because it does seem as if the producers/directors went out of there way to negatively portray their father Richard. It didn't seem very fair and I noticed that about half through the film he basically disappears and doesn't show up for a while. I don't blame him. The quality is top notch and even if you don't like Venus and Serena you'll learn to love them and their champion hearts once you've seen this movie!

If the father seems to be portrayed in a harsh light it's because that's who he is. Before the girls were born he had a 78 page manifesto to catapult them to the top. These two had no choice except to play tennis all their lives . They are two incredible people who worked unbelievably hard to get where they are.
