Psychics Sylvia Pickel (Cyndi Lauper) and Nick Deezy (Jeff Goldblum) are hired by a mysterious man (Peter Falk) to find an ancient treasure in South America. As they trek through Ecuador, their supernatural skills lead them straight into danger, disaster and romance. When the ancient ruins unleash an evil paranormal power, Sylvia and Nick must join psychic forces to save the world. Vibes is a star-studded supernatural comedy that features Jeff Goldblum, Peter Falk, Julian Sands and Steve Buscemi, and marks the acting debut of Cyndi Lauper.

Cyndi Lauper is fabulous in her first time out, Jeff Goldblum is genius and Peter Falk is hysterical. This IS such a delightful, captivating story and yet such an underrated masterpiece of a movie. You're going love this!

This is an underrated little gem. Interesting premise, and it's surprisingly funny and actually a little scary with its supernatural themes. Cyndi Lauper is great in it, and so is Jeff Goldblum.
