Ajith Kumar is a big shot of his village and he runs a rice mill factory. A Mumbai-based doctor (Nayantara) visits his village to run a medical camp. They both fall in love and get married. They beget a girl child. The couple split up after a misunderstanding. Their daughter grows up with an ambition but she has some problems and hurdles to fulfill her ambition.
