Upper class British intelligensia, no thanks. Suffragettes they were not. They were stifled and depressed and they struggled with horrible sexism, but this movie is flatter than a pancake.

Wonderful. Subtle yet intense portrayal of a time where not everyone could live as they truly felt. A+ acting.
