John Candy and Richard Lewis star in this hilariously unconventional look at the legendary West. When Phil Taylor (Lewis) and his family decide that the Old West is not what it's cracked up to be, they take the entire town of Prosperity with them. Led by wagon master Harlow (Candy), they begin the heroic, backbreaking, danger-filled journey back... East! Along the way, they must survive Indians, hired guns, each other and Harlow's terrible secret.

I'll agree that this script has alot to be desired, but the acting was good. And, if you're a John Candy fan, give it a least a one time watch.

Terrible. And I'm a huge John Candy fan but even he couldn't save this trainwreck.

I just watched this movie and i loved it it's so funny and good cast good story john candy is missed this movie will make you laugh
