When things get tough for Carys Reitman (Bijou Phillips), she does what any emotionally isolated girl would do -- she goes to strangers' funerals. But after an unexpected series of mix-ups and white lies, Carys finds herself in possession of a dead woman's engagement ring and in love with Tyler (Ian Somerhalder), the grieving fiancé.
