Filmed over three years, this visceral film is a meditation on a community determined to develop a deep sense of presence, not just for themselves but for all those they love. As the seasons come and go, the monastics’ inner journey is amplified by insights from Thich Nhat Hanh’s early journals, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch.

Very peaceful and calming offering a glimpse into the daily life of Buddhist monastics giving us tools we can use in our daily lives. This reminds us we can choose a hopeful future through such practices.

Post 2008 and 2010 flash crash - crazy men in groups do goofy stuff believing Billionaires will not eat them alive. Kool Aid cult. No thanks.

You can feel the peace throughout the movie. After watching the movie, you will long for the peace of mind.
