War for the Planet of the Apes

Очень хорошо нарисованы обезьяны, их мимика, движения. И очень плохо все остальное. Все люди - какие-то картонные злодеи, да еще и тупые. Интриги нет вообще, все скучно и прямолинейно. Сюжет бестолковый, пригодный разве что для короткометражки. Что там эпического, как написали в анонсе, непонятно. Обычная рядовая стычка одной группы людей и одной группы обезьян. Что происходит на планете в целом не раскрыто совершенно.

Weak plot, too long, boring. Characters were shallow and derivative. Subtitles weren't included in the Google Play version and would have been helpful as the ooo ooo ooo *gesticulate* was the main dialogue. The good reviews are odd as the reviewers must come from a different universe, maybe just shills. Avoid.

Performances are okay, but the overall story takes very long and pacing is way off. They could cut an hour away from the movie without losing core messaging. If you want yo watch a good planet of the apes film watch the first one, that is good enough
