Очень хорошо нарисованы обезьяны, их мимика, движения. И очень плохо все остальное. Все люди - какие-то картонные злодеи, да еще и тупые. Интриги нет вообще, все скучно и прямолинейно. Сюжет бестолковый, пригодный разве что для короткометражки. Что там эпического, как написали в анонсе, непонятно. Обычная рядовая стычка одной группы людей и одной группы обезьян. Что происходит на планете в целом не раскрыто совершенно.

Apart from some of the heavy handed metaphors, this is an amazing movie with excellent acting, directing and screen writing that adds unexpected depth to a "block buster" movie. The violence is mostly off-screen, which gives the losses so much more impact whilst preserving the sanctity of a more sensitive viewer. The score is beautiful and well used. What a good and thoroughly enjoyable movie.

Weak plot, too long, boring. Characters were shallow and derivative. Subtitles weren't included in the Google Play version and would have been helpful as the ooo ooo ooo *gesticulate* was the main dialogue. The good reviews are odd as the reviewers must come from a different universe, maybe just shills. Avoid.
