John Wells
Not a patch on the lord of the rings. Yet I felt the scenery , costumes & CGI were all done very well, the actual filming was more TV than movie in that it feels a bit closter phobic in places. It is however a decent enough movie if you like these kind of films. I remember the old warhammer games used to have awesome opening animations on the PC, I was hoping for that kind of action for a whole movie!

I've tried 3 times now to watch this, but I can't bring myself to watch more than an hour. I won't bad-mouth the movie, but it's each to their own, and I know there will be fans of the movie out there who love it. Like Batman vs Superman (which I enjoyed) and marmite, you'll either love or hate it.

I'm relatively new to WOW, but have been an avid fantasy reader, AD&D player as well as Warhammer before so the fantasy plot line and the story of how the humans and the orcs first declared war in each other wasn't too hard to get my head around. It would be nice for their to be a second, worth watching.
