The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, an unlikely set of heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their families, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something. (Original Title - Warcraft) - 2016 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.

I really, really, really enjoyed the movie. Felt authentic and most pleasant to the eye. A little twist, predictable of course, but nevertheless kept a slight intrigue and most of all what a lovely interpretation of an all time classic. Well done and even tough watched it elsewhere, will be most definitely adding this title to my collection along with "Blight" - the movie, that felt so much like an echo of an ealrier WOW story. Peace people and enjoy what your hunch tells you to enjoy. Don't take too much heed to "critics" cause their job is to be critical and not in the most positive ways of all for sure ;)

A film that really is about the name, and unhelpfully eschews any semblance of script or detail. Yes it is vaguely based on the story (rewritten) about the game warcraft 1. We say rewritten as this doesn't actually conform with the original game's printed material, so super fans take note. In terms of acting the actors look bored, lines are delivered with the same charisma as an undertaker. The cgi is everywhere and unfortunately this was used to poor effect, especially armor. 1/5 plz don't.

Yet another example of trying to cram too much into one movie. Not only that I think they did the lore disservice by some of the choices. The casting choices apart from Toby Kebbell were all wrong. The script felt way too forced and it's a shame because Duncan Jones is such a good director. I think there was a lot of interference as well whether it be from the studios or from Blizzard but it felt like there were a lot of cooks in this kitchen.
