A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human -- setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

This is neither horror, nor comedy, nor satire. It's an okay movie if you're bored and killing time, but it fell far short of the expectations from the trailer. There's very little material that draws a genuine laugh (even Rob Cordry isn't given anything funny to work with,) and a let down on the big baddies and action sequences. Also you have to take almost ALL of the plot points with a few grains of salt.

(Possible spoiler) Despite the kidnapping (spoiler end) the first half of the movie is promising before it turns into another typical magical boy meets normal girl flick. Good points - love the best friend, some nice dialogue, & R is just so gosh darn pretty.

I can not begin to describe how horrible this movie is. It is not even worth the $3 I spent to rent it, I actually feel unclean from seeing this. I know what people are going to say too, "your a guy so you just don't like romance". WRONG!!! I love romance, this was not a romance, it was a necrophiliacs wet dream. I never thought I would say this but this is worse than Twilight.
