About this movie

At Agrotek, the cover name for a top-secret laboratory for the development of chemical and biological weapons, a serious accident occurs, spreading a sinister bacteria throughout the laboratory. The security system of the complex closes and seals the building with all the personnel inside, putting them all at great risk. The relatives of the enclosed people threaten to do whatever it takes to get their loved ones out. Warning Sign stars Sam Waterston, Kathleen Quinlan, Yaphet Kotto and Richard Dysart.

Ratings and reviews

An hugely underrated gem of a thriller that's ripe for reappraisal. This is a treat to watch as there's a great level of realism and wonderful, soulful characters that's unusual for a 1980s movie. Sam Waterston and Kathleen Quinlan make for a terrific, believable on screen couple and you really empathise with their plight. Terrific action throughout and a great ending. If you like pandemic movies like 28 Days Later (2002) , then give Warning Sign (1985) a try.
