Informazioni su questo film

WARRIOR tells the inspirational story of an estranged family that finds redemption in the unlikeliest of places...the MMA ring. Tommy Riordan (Tom Hardy), an ex-marine with a tragic past, returns home and enlists his father (Nick Nolte), a recovering alcoholic and former wrestling coach, to train him for "Sparta", the biggest MMA tournament ever held. But when Tommy's underdog brother, Brendan (Joel Edgerton), fights his way into the tournament, the two brothers must finally confront each other and the forces that pulled them apart. What ensues is the most gut-wrenching, soul-stirring, and unforgettable battle of their lives.

From Rocky to Mortal Combat, fighting movies have a bad rep as always missing a key element. Weather the action is sparse and poorly done, or the acting/story leaves something to be desired. Let's leave it at Fighting movies generally are not viewed as "award winning" or "masterpieces" Warrior breaks this mold. With great acting, story, cinematography, action, and music this is an across the board amazing movie. But It goes a step further. Many movies struggle to create a lead character who you root for and want to succeed. Warrior managed this twice, creating two characters who you cheer for and want to succeed. Both of whom you can relate to. And it is a chilling moment moment when that announcer tells the world that they are brothers. Even though you already know this, even though it has been made clear all movie. At that moment it becomes real. Any one who has a brother will be brought to their knees by that last 15 minutes. Almost all brothers have fought at some point in their lives(and I mean physical fighting), and that fight at the end is so accurate of the feelings of those fights. Lashing out anger ending in feelings of regret and sorrow. It is an amazing moment.

I love the story and "spoiler ALERT" how they waited a little into the movie to revile that they were brothers. I loved the movie but the ending could've been a little better, they should've showed them together all as a family and the war hero meeting his brother kids or the teacher going back to class. But over all it was a beautiful movie and would recommend anyone to watch.

This is hands down the best movie in the last 10 years! Instantly in my top 10 of all time. Already ordered the blue ray! How did this thing not get promoted better than it did is beyond me I think they missed the boat on this one could have made a lot more money. Hands down Nolte's best roll ever. And these two brothers were perfect I couldn't pick who I wanted to win. All around great movie!
