This is a great movie. Not using subtitles for the Romanian dialogue lets us be in the shoes of the protagonist, Julia, who doesn't speak Romanian. We are lost and alone with her in Bucharest. It's a great way to get us to either believe everything she says, believes, and feels, or to think that maybe she's making it all up in her head because she feels so alone. It's unsettling because it's easy to relate to her.

Most of the movie wasn't in English. Story line wasn't strong and the preview was more entertaining than the movie. It's not a classic of any sort and I wouldn't watch it a second time. It's like 2.5 stars.

Don't they know that not everyone can speak and understand Romanian? I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any language rather than English. They could add many languages they want. Even if they want to speak in gibberish language, yeah, it's okay as long as there is built-in subtitle for it. I know that this can be controlled by soft subtitle, but some subtitle makers don't translate non-English languages. So, in order to let ppl understand everything, there should be built-in subtitle for it.
