We're Doing Fine is a film about two people from Dayton, Ohio–one who left and one who stayed. They meet at a time of crisis, when both are experiencing the impending loss of a single parent. Though the city is all Gertie and John share, its spirit brings them together. Their chance encounter will be brief, but it will redirect the course of their lives.
