A former U.S. President is talked into running for mayor of a small Maine township. There is, however, one problem: after being assured he will be unopposed, the ex-Prez learns that a popular and folksy hardware store manager has also thrown his hat in the ring and has a good shot at winning. The town now finds itself subjected to some hardball political tactics as this David-versus-Goliath match plays out.
