Acerca de esta película

Gilbert Grape (Depp) lives in Endora, a place where nothing much happens. The only times the police got something to do is when Gilbert's autistic brother Arnie (DiCaprio) tries to climb up on the watertower nearby. Taking care of Arnie is mostly Gilbert's task which can be pretty demanding, at least while you are working at the local grocery store. Then one day Becky (Lewis) and her grandmother passes through Endora getting trouble with the car. Gilbert falls in love with Becky, but gets problems when he tries to find time for his own private life.

this movie has a lot of good scenes . it doesnt remind me of other movies which is a plus. it gets a little loud at times, but so does life, so, realistic stuff. its refreshing to see johnny depp not wearing 100+ things and leonardo dicaprio is a good version of a slow person. also notable is the gigantic mother because where did they find her who knew people that massive did acting. all around its worth your while and its definitely better than kings of the carribean

Watched this movie for the 1st time yesterday and watched it again 2 more times, such a good but also very sad movie. When I first watched it I felt so bad for Arnie all the way through the movie and for Gilbert because he has the major responsibility of taking care of Arnie 24/7 with no breaks.

very emotional! made me cry. I recommend renting or buying this movie because its just everything! You'll love it, I had my doubts about this movie because watching a trailer wasn't gonna say much about it but watching this movie is now my favorite, I don't regret it at all. All im gonna say is yes you should watch it. If you love drama or about someones life, its the right movie to be watching.
