Acerca de esta película

Rob Reiner's romantic comedy documents a very unusual couple. There's never been a friendship quite like Harry and Sally's. From faking an orgasm at the corner deli, to debating the odds of having great sex with a guy named "Sheldon", there's nothing Harry and Sally don't do together. Well, almost nothing…. At the start, they are two recent college graduates who meet while sharing a ride together from Chicago to New York. They decide that it is impossible for men and women to be "just friends," and when they reach The Big Apple, they go their separate ways. Several years later they happen to be seated next to each other on an airplane, and Harry tells Sally about his recent marriage…and several years later, in another random meeting, he relays his divorce…when they become close friends…so close that their respective best friends fall in love. At a climactic New Years Eve party, they finally must confront and embrace their true feelings for each other.

Just incredible. From the story to the performances, this movie is pretty much flawless. The jokes still hold up very well and the topics are as relevant today as it was over 20 years ago. Harry and Sally's relationship is believable and will have you practically begging for them to finally see what we've witnessing the whole time. One of the best romantic comedies ever made (if not the best), but be aware that while there's no nudity/violence, there is strong language and adult dialog.

Do NOT buy this movie. For some reason this copy of the movie is missing the original sound track by Harry Connick Jr. The missing music is most noticeable when Harry realizes that Sally is meant for him and runs to the New Years party. The classic Harry Connick "It had to be you" which normally backs up the scene is missing. This is a very disappointing elimination which ruins the movie in my opinion.

I unfortunately must give this particular version sold on Google a poor rating. I would have rated it 5 stars if it matched the version I saw back in 1989 but, unfortunately, the music was changed in key scenes towards the end of the movie and that changed the experience for me. The change feels like some kind of 1984/Ministry of Truth edit. I feel sad.
