Really enjoyed this movie. Jim Caviziel's role as Coach Ladoceur was passionate and believable. While the acting of some of the other characters wasnt as good, I still really enjoyed the movie and the story. The guy who plays Chris Ryan's dad (same guy who played the lead prison guard in Shawshank Redemption) always plays such a great bad guy, and hes about as bad you can be in a movie like this. Overall the message of the movie of team and family first is so powerful. #Matthew2312

It was a decent movie, but some big disappointments. The trailer almost exclusively showed clips from before the streak loss, not showing any of the actual struggles. It also implied that the death of a player would be a major aspect of the film, but it was barely a footnote. It's almost like this movie tried to include everything unique about every other football drama. In the end, the message of not being about an individual gets lost when you realize the film is exalting the coach

Even people who don't like sports or understand the rules of football will enjoy this movie, b/c it's NOT about football. Rather, it's about not giving up, overcoming fierce obstacles in life, and succeeding. It inspires, motivates, and uplifts us all! Bottom Line: If you think that you have it bad in life, and you've given up on yourself, then you should watch this movie! It's based on a True Story.
