Four college coeds leave Ohio behind for spring break and head to a week of fun, sun, sand and romance in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a seaside paradise Where the Boys Are. 1960. When beautiful young women from allover the country congregate for one week each year in the Florida beach down, single young men swarm, and anything can--and does--happen. Hearts will be won. Hearts will be broken. And there will be bikinis, music and the wildest party of the year Where the Boys Are.

I was born in Hollywood raised in Fort Lauderdale, I too enjoyed the movie very much when I saw it, especially got a kick out of it, when they were standing on the corner next to the Elbow Room, on Fort Lauderdale Beach. I've been on that corner many of times during my childhood. I remember back in my teenage years cruising Fort Lauderdale Beach looking for chicks.😆

I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. My childhood home is in the movie, during one of the boating scenes. The good ol' days of Fort Lauderdale strip!!

Love this movie!!! First seen it as a kid with my mom...good memories. Love the song too from Connie Francis....
