same old story. kid goes against parents' wishes and wins them over with her secret, subversive talent. durp durp.

Not sure how I didn't hear about this one when it was in theaters, but it's really a fun movie! Ellen Page is always great and seeing Drew Barrymore's directorial debut was also awesome. Great cast, enjoyable story, well-written script, and now I'm stoked to go see a roller derby bout tomorrow night! Check out your local league. :-)

This is my all time favorite movie. Great girl empowerment message. Funny and the acting and the characters are amazing. This movie is so relatable to almost any teenage girl in our time. Highly recommended
