About this movie

Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) and Sidney Deane (Wesley Snipes) are an unlikely pair of basketball hustlers. They team up to con their way across the courts of Los Angeles, playing a game that's fast dangerous - and funny. Directed and written by Ron Shelton ("Bull Durham"), and co-starring the sizzling Rosie Perez, "White Men Can't Jump" is a slam dunk, high-flying comedy hit!

This movie does not aged well. I remember enjoying it when it came out in the theater, but now as an older adult the characters seem extremely dimwitted. And seeing the level of dumb dumbs on TV now who knew this level of stupidity was achievable ?

One great movie that is about to baling, not DukEuro 3 Step Flopping ish! Tar Heels & the greatest ever, MJ type of hoops. A great piece of arty that reveal the trite sprout of American Ball not European crap. Hopefully they make a 3 point spot a dunno asap or American hoops will never come back to our greaves and when it was a better product than the NFL, even. Or make a deep 3 point shot more like 25% of an extra reward than a regular bucket instead of frackin 50%

Not your typical basketball movie, no winners in here. Still great basketball and even better storyline.
