Thông tin về bộ phim này

White Noise is the definitive inside story of the alt-right, following Richard Spencer, Lauren Southern, and Mike Cernovich as they ride a wave of racist ideas to viral fame. Even as the movement breaks into the mainstream, it fractures, leaving its leaders to grapple with backlash, infighting, and self-doubt.

Not sure why Lombroso claims he was "embedded' in the Alt Right movement. Actually, he got a few interviews while following their camps. The 3 subjects featured are a sad lot with no understanding of their own desperation. They lack the intellectual and emotional firepower to comprehend the social constructs they pretend to address. Yes, their sense of loss and grief are palpable, but chiefly because they've not done the personal work necessary to see that their loss stems from wounds that have little, if anything, to do with race or culture. They want so much to belong but have not the vaguest idea why human connection keeps escaping them. Tragic figures. Aside from their stunning need for public attention, we learn only enough to know the filmmakers missed the deeper story. If that story were examined, viewers might come away learning something important about the driving force inside their 'movement.' We already know the world is changing for dominant tribes, and most of us envision that as a good thing. But all we really get from the film is confirmation that change is frightening for people, and even more so for people who fear losing what they never really had.

Exposes the alt right and their despicable philosophy. In Mississipi where I grew up in the 60's, these brain-dead right wing extremists were everywhere, along with the John Birch Society. Spike Lee satirizes them perfectly in his movie BlackKlansman. Michael German was an FBI agent who infiltrated white supremacy groups for 13 years, and his movie Imperium is based on these right wing extremists, pathetic troubled people.
