Harlon Mackey (Nick Krause) is a bullied teen that begins to have visions of a rabbit his alcoholic father (Sam Trammell) forced him to kill while hunting as a young boy. Now older, Harlon is haunted by the rabbit's death and his fixation results in imaginary voices that encourage him to carry out violent and sinister acts. With the arrival of Julie (Britt Robertson) into town, Harlon's mental state improves as they become close, but then she betrays him causing Harlon to finally break and commit one final act of revenge...
