Whitney exuded both girlish charm and womanly confidence throughout her discography, from the dance-pop delights of How Will I Know, So Emotional and I Wanna Dance WIth Somebody (Who Loves Me) to heart-stopping ballads like Greatest Love of All, I Have Nothing and her immortal 1992 cover of Dolly Parton’s I Will Always Love You, which propelled the soundtrack to her film debut, The Bodyguard, to all-time best-seller status.
Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances includes performances from three decades of stellar live appearances, from talk-shows (The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, Late Show with David Letterman, The Oprah Winfrey Show) to awards ceremonies - and all the extra-special performances in between, from Whitney’s definite performance of The Star-Spangled Banner at Super Bowl XXV in 1991 to exhilarating versions of I Will Always Love You and I’m Every Woman from 1994’s Concert For A New South Africa.
