關於這部電影

WHO TOOK JOHNNY is an examination into an infamous thirty-year-old cold case: the disappearance of Iowa paperboy Johnny Gosch, the first missing child to appear on a milk carton. The film focuses on the heartbreaking story of Johnny's mother, Noreen, and her relentless quest for the truth about what happened on the tragic September morning in Des Moines when Johnny never returned from his paper route. Along the way there have been mysterious sightings, strange clues, bizarre revelations, and a confrontation with a person who claims to have helped abduct Johnny. Steeped in intrigue and conspiracy theories, WHO TOOK JOHNNY explores eyewitness accounts, compelling evidence, and emotional discoveries spanning three decades of the most spellbinding missing person's case in U.S. history.

This movie, which is about the 1982 disappearance of Johnny Gosch, is heart-wrenching on many levels. Sadly, it leaves the viewer with more questions than it answers. As a father, it is incomprehensible how the Gosches (and others in similar ordeals) are able to move forward. They deserve much better treatment from law officials than they received.

Really interesting and very very sad. I would like to know more about the moms theory on human trafficking and also know what actions or preventative measures that are in place now that human trafficking is so big now in the U.S.

The movie was very tragic but what struck me in the heart was the complete lack of help from the police dept. and the FBI. That was just inconceivable to me. The PD and FBI are the ones who have to live with themselves. It was as if the officers wrote off the mom as a loony bin when in fact she was very strong. I just hope some of the laws have changed regarding missing children. Not all children are runaways and never have been.
