Eve, an adoptee who was left on the steps of a church on Christmas Eve as a newborn, feels like she can't move forward in her relationship with her boyfriend, Chris, because she's uncertain as to who she really is and where she really comes from. As a Christmas present, Chris hires investigative genealogist Pam Slaton to solve the mystery of Eve's origin. As Pam works to reunite Eve with her birth family, Eve and Chris embark on an emotional and romantic journey that may lead them to marriage and a committed future together.
